Note to self: write down answers to security questions together with the password. Especially if the security question is not factual (“in what city was your mother born?”), but subjective and may change over time: “who is your favorite author”, “who would you like to meet”.

I was trying to login to a government web site I rarely visit. I use a password manager, so my password should have been correct, but it wasn’t. Thus, it went to security questions. Who knows whom I put as the favorite author or whom I wanted to meet 6 years ago? Also, the spelling can vary. E.g., was it just the last name or first + last name? Write them down.
