Another tool I tried today. The idea is very cool, but I don’t like the fact that after I “link” the database I suddenly get gazillion changes to commit. I would think that “linking” means submitting current state to the DB.
Also, it is not clear how to get rid of the users and roles information, I don’t want it in source control.

Thanks for trying our SQL Server source control tool. The idea behind ‘linking’ is that it’s associating the database with a repository in source control. If you’re doing this for the first time, you’ll need to commit your objects as a one-off task. It’s possible that we should make it an option to do both in a single step.
We’ve had many requests to implement object filtering. At the moment you’ll have to ignore these for now (either commit them and ignore them when you deploy, or leave them in the commit list and never commit them), so we’re working on adding this feature for the next release, available hopefully by the end of the year.
